A quick release alignment pin  or fastpin

No positive locking is employed on a detent pin. 

The single or 2 balls being retained out by a spring or pad. Insertion and removal is simply achieved by pushing or pulling the ring handle. No locking mechanism, these quick release pins are suitable only in a shear loading for alignment.
